Happy to announce a haiku of mine was just published in the Spring/Summer issue of Autumn Moon Haiku! And the timing could not be better. Not only did I write the haiku (well, a clumsier version of it) almost exactly 20 years ago, the topic of the poem was my graduation from Marlboro College (now, sadly, defunct). It was a day for gathering the lessons of the past to face an uncertain but thrilling future. And while my life has led me down many detours since then, in recent years I find myself returning to my passion for writing with renewed focus. Now, with a newly completed novel under my belt and my first published piece after a long hiatus, I feel once again as if I’m walking through the spring mist into the next unwritten chapter.
